Go 'Stros!
Now I don't consider myself a die-hard lifelong baseball fan...in fact, it wasn't until I moved to Texas a couple of years back that my then-husband's deep love for baseball slowly rubbed off on me. So for the past couple of years, I've cheered for the Houston Astros, the hometown team and the only major league team whose games I've ever been to.
And tonight - the Astros won the National League Championship! And not just the league championship, but the FIRST-EVER league championship in the team's 44-year history, beating the St. Louis Cardinals, whom they lost to last year, and now they're going to the WORLD SERIES!
